Welcome to the WWW side of the AzTeC Freenet, located in Deer Valley Arizona USA at the home of our sponsor: EMR Corporation. We are a registered Arizona 501c3 non-profit organization. On AzTeC's telnet side, we provide text-based free internet access, e-mail accounts, community forums (discussion groups), and usenet news. We also provide free web hosting to other Arizona non-profit and 501(c)(3) organizations. AzTeC is run by community volunteers and the generosity of donations from individuals and organizations. We would be pleased for You to join us: Check out the details by clicking on the "User Manual" above or here. :-)

Attention Aztec Users
The long AzTeC drought is mostly over as you can see. The issues (dial-up, web site) have been resolved.
There are some issues remaining which our host, EMR, has control and are being addressed. While it is
understood your patience has been tried mightily over the past two months we ask that you be patient...
yet once again and we want to thank everyone who has expressed concern and
support for OBA (Our Beloved AzTeC). We intend to give a full explanation of the previous difficulties on the SIG Operational Issues
(#17 Main Menu) and the future plans for those who are curious as to the whys of our lengthy down time so,
again, be patient, we have much yet to do. The refurbishments and readjustments to AzTeC, as well as what has to be done, have been expensive.
Our funds have been severely depleted and we are asking that the membership
consider a monetary donation. You can send your donation to our Post Office Box (the rent of which, bye the bye, is coming due);
be assured OBA will smile upon you and bring huge amounts of good fortune upon you and your
loved ones. AzTeC Computing, P.O.B. 15844, Phoenix, Az 85060 The Help Line number continues to be 602 468 9765.

The "PHISHING for Stupidity" folks are STILL at it with 'better' ideas!

PHISHING is the practice of sending out fake emails, or SPAM, written to
appear as if they have been sent by banks or other reputable organisations,
with the intent of luring the recipient into revealing sensitive information
such as usernames, passwords, account IDs, ATM PINs or credit card details.

Don't even open them! Delete them!! AND....Do stop by the 'Operational Issues SIG'(Main Menu #17) for AzTeC Freenet Updates!
